It could also be that the average north american has had more access to ChatGPT than the rest of the world, or that suicides are hard to link to ChatGPT, or they go unreported or unlitigated in other parts of the world

I’d recommend looking at Hedy. It was created to teach kids programming, with a smooth ramp from simple English-like statements all they way to full python, with formal syntax introduced very gradually.
