I think ‘master’ is fine for the master branch. It’s a master copy of the codebase.

I use ‘main’ at work cos that’s what my git client defaults to. I use ‘master’ at home because that’s what my git client defaults to. 🤷‍♂️

My boss will regularly send random, unrelated, unrequested AI videos into the general slack channel, and literally everybody else in the room loves them. It’s fucking weird, it feels like being the only grown-up in a nursery sometimes 😂

This isn’t harmless though, and I’d argue it’s still really harmful. Imagine becoming convinced a loved one is trapped inside ChatGPT. We’ve already got plenty of reports of chatbot induced psychosis, and a few suicides.

My boss did this same exact shit. ‘oh, no no, we won’t be relying on AI to develop our websites! No no, not at all! You just have to use it to write the code for you! It’s not a replacement for a developer, it’s just a tool!’
