It’s the new game: AI, or late 00s overzealous image sharpening?
Could be modern AI enhancement filters making it a little bit of both.
It’s definitely not entirely AI, those life sized decorations exist and are sold at hardware stores. It’s just definitely had some filter applied that has done some wonky stuff.
at a hardware store this becomes a much more urgent problem.
