Under a ceasefire agreement with the Kurdish-led SDF, Syrian government troops have entered Kurdish strongholds, with the stated goal of facilitating Kurds' integration. But the situation is volatile, as DW found out.

I posted this report to highlight this often neglected conflict. It’s important especially right now, when the Kurds are set to loose their right to self-determination again.

    There will be no peace until governments separate religion from state. Everyone should support secular life and if they choose ,they should be free to practice their own religion.
