I’m planning to visit Japan and some country with nice beaches (right now thinking about Thailand) in October - 2-3 weeks total trip.
From what I checked cheapest direct flights from EU to Asia are with Finnair from Helsinki with prices about 1000eur both ways. I would like to avoid transfer in middle east and I appreciate flying over north pole instead of middle east 😊
Do you think price can decrease in upcoming months? Can you recommend some strategies for planning trip like that?

If you don’t wanna transfer in Middle East, there’s Singapore Airlines afaik.

Finnair flies to Japan via Norway, North Pole, Alaska. No idea how expensive that is. I’m guessing it’s just going to get more expensive thanks to oil and gas prices soaring.
