Especially Spain and Ireland openly call what is happening in Gaza a genocide and a France and some other countries just recognized Palestine. A huge reason for support of Israel, is probably also the US. It was very interesting to see Germany being very clear that it did not want to support opening the Strait of Homruz closed due to the Israeli and US attack against Iran recently.
Orban has been the most radical somewhat powerful supporter of Israel in the EU. The EU has for example passed sanctions against Israeli settlers. Those could in theory be blocked by Orban. Also he withdrew Hungary from the Ineternational Criminal Court, so Netanyahu could visit him in the future.
