I’m mainly talking about the ingredients used to make it, for example: US “Beef” is full of hormonal steroids (they’re injecting that shit) while both French & German beef doesn’t have that. Heard about chlorinated chicken? Yep, they have that too: as in poultry is doused in chlorine solution and deem that “fresh chicken”, like seriously? Most of the ingredients their FDA approves are banned in the EU (which are replaced with alternatives).
That applies to drinks and sodas (not only food): as for instance, I’ve tried Fanta in Poland and there’s a difference: as American Fanta is just “orange” (food coloring) carbonated water with TONS of corn sryup that the color doesn’t look at all natural. What you will notice is that American “sweets” involve corn syrup than sugar as its cheap. The thing is that the US abuses the hell out of corn sryup but it’s use is regulated & restricted in the EU.
I’ve seen shorts on social media with American “expats” whom moved to a European country comparing food quality between their own country and the one they’ve moved to. Often or not, they consider food quality in Europe a godsend due to them not feeling sick or bloated. As a European: does American “food” suck in comparison to your own cuisine when you take into account of not feeling ill or bloated right after digestion?
