    Wow. That’s such a brilliant new idea –except that across the North Sea this has been possible for several years now. A so called ‘dynamic contract’ prices electricity based on supply and demand, which changes every hour. Sometimes you pay more than the ‘flat rate’, but also sometimes you even get paid for using electricity.

      For Denmark, prices are now changing every 15 minutes. We just had a few days lately where electricity was almost down to closing 0 and a single day with negative prices. All kinds of fees and taxes are added to that, so you’re still paying something.
