    well, except the religious one, the others seem logical for me, and we also have the no noise Sundays and days off here in France

    also:

    Stopping on a highway is only allowed during emergencies.

    The person who wrote this seems to think that it’s crazy? Why would you stop on a highway?!

      The weird thing is that stopping in non-emergencys or reversing even on the hard shoulder is not only forbidden it is in fact a crime. Granted not a felony and in most cases would not even be pursued or would end with a monetary sentence, but its a crime noneheless

      Lots oft countries allow you to stop in the “emergency lane” without actually having an emergency.
