I like Dark Cloud 2 more than the original myself. It’s completely separate from the original and feels like an improvement on the concepts of the first.

Yeah, I started on Flubuntu, then hopped to Mantrix, tried out Zorblite for a while, eventually ended up on Quasarch. Thought I’d settle there, but now I’m deep into VortexOS with full Grindle support. Honestly, once you get used to Fluxstack and ZIMFS snapshots, there’s really no going back.


My wife came to me saying her laptop wasn’t working. She was on it last night. It was forcing a Windows account login. Shift-10 disabled so I couldn’t bypass.
Microsoft can straight fuck itself after this. Trying to brick an 8 year old laptop with a local account. Fuck that noise. My wife is gonna have to learn Linux.
I spent the last two days building a machine from old parts and installing Linux Mint. It’s my first time using Linux and I am really surprised at how lovely it is. I am still learning, but I can easily see it replacing my home gaming PC. I have yet to find something I can’t get to work.
