I hope you didn’t get me wrong, I think it’s an awesome hobby! I love nerd culture and I love looking at Unix porn. I am often blown away by the results and what is possible! And this part where you learn about Linux is very cool, too.

I don’t know if this is accurate, but someone claimed that ricing is a hobby sometimes to such an extent that their setups are solely for the looks. They don’t work with it. It can happen that they restart the ricing after a short while. I guess if you have to do actual work on your computer you tend to strive to simpler and less complex setups.

I perceive it like not the wealth tax per se is unconstitutional. But it is not following the “Gleichheitsgrundsatz” But you may be right after all.

Das Vermögenssteuergesetz müsse überarbeitet werden, so die Richter. Daraufhin argumentierte die damalige Bundesregierung von CDU/CSU und FDP, eine Gesetzesreform sei viel zu kompliziert.

Deshalb wurde die Vermögenssteuer nicht überarbeitet - sondern komplett ausgesetzt.

I think it’s not even unconstitutional - they have chosen not to enforce it because “it’s ToO DiFfIcUlT To cAlCuLaTe and To eVaLuAtE” the correct wealth and an according tax share.
