Not really, it’s just how much better Vulkan is compared to DX12. It’s mostly about having a way better async scheduler for multi-CPU multi-threading hardware.
It’s mostly the TV. The input difference between wired and BT should be very small, though the switch is not optimized for wired controllers. The variability of TV response times on the other hand it massive in comparison. Specially modern TVs with heavy post processing who think they are clever trying to interpolate frames or other shit like bad HDR implementations, etc. HDMI DRM also adds latency.
All that causes most TVs to be subpar for gaming. I still game on TV, mostly cozy games. But I accept that nothing competitive will come out of gaming on a TV.

If you don’t care about camera quality, then pixel is the superior choice, as that would be the leg up for the s25. As well as the price difference. You might not consider custom ROMs now, but it could be a factor in 5 to 7 years to extend support further. Pixels are also superior in that regard.

Often times it is because of limitations beyond the control of MS. Like, in my company we use MS products because they are the standard. But we have to work with the vendor and IT to selectively disable a group of features and updates. Because we are very secretive and confidentiality is paramount for very good reasons, it has nothing to do with trade secrets, it is about protecting people. Nothing can leave our servers, no telemetry, no AI, no automated cloud backups, no summary, no bots on meetings, no transcriptions, none of the usual crap they are constantly pushing for. Salesmen look at us like we are aliens, but it’s either that or we can’t do our job well. As a result, we are often left with lobotomized versions of the same apps. But at the same time, it shows how little those feature are actually useful or necessary. And in particular, how they are a prime point of failure and bugs.
Our Teams still fucks up connections from time to time. But it is usually because it forgets it is neutered and tries to do something it isn’t supposed to do and our VPNs nuke the connection. Like trying to call MS instead of our servers for telemetry, or trying to spin the module for a feature that doesn’t exist in our network.
