I use a patching software, antivirus, and backup software at work and they’re all now broken, after being patched. One is a 10.4B dollar company with a critical bug.

I felt like I had imposter syndrome at my tech job, and then we got a boss whose only contribution is to make chatgpt goals and objectives. Which he can’t understand them himself, because he gets called out in the meeting for obvious bullshit, and he defends himself by saying he has chatgpt summarize it.

AI has made me feel better about my own capabilities, because I realize most people are idiots. AI makes them clearly visible to everyone, and theyre too dumb to realize how obvious it is. Its a trap for the lazy, the 40% that do nothing at their job, and they are too clueness to understand what they’re doing.

Its weird how birth rates started to fall dramatically in 1971, and continued to fall since then, as home price to median income somehow rose dramatically. Did something happen in 1971 that would oppress young people, some kind of gatekeeping mechanism that made them worse off financially?

I’m excited because I think AI will break down and erode proprietary file formats, for ultimate portability between different software providers. That for me is a game changer in how software is used, and opens up real competition and innovation. Thats not anything as grand as the AGI these founders keep vaporwaring, but I think it will still be substantial.
