Puxando a brasa à minha sardinha, criei recentemente uma comunidade onde estou a tentar começar uma leitura acompanhada (embora esta semana esteja atrasado 😢). Se gostares do tópico ou não souberes do que se trata fica à vontade para deixar alguma pergunta!

Not really, local elections tend to have different results than the legislative elections, in Portugal.
For example, while PCP (communist party) has very small representation in our national parliament (2/170) it’s still the third largest party in number of mayor’s, way ahead of the far right.
The same applies to CDS (conservatives), that left the parliament a couple years ago (and came back last year) and were still able to elect 6 mayor’s.
I feel like the definition I use for state might be somewhat different than most around here, as I would consider an administration as a state.
Even without class struggle, crimes and abused would still occur how can a copless society (with millions of members) resolve this issues? Local militias? Wouldn’t those be the “police”?
