Is this coming to a usable client? Like say an Android TV app or a Linux flatpak?
Is that wyvern app usable for 2d or is it only for XR?

I have a 3080 TI and a another rig with a RX 7900 XTX and the difference is night and day, on Linux AMD works like magic. I love it.
Agreed, also CRTs ruined the future for me as well.
Definitely Proxmox as base OS, Docker inside.
Not for me, I prefer AIO, less maintenance.
I agree, but I would buy this for my kids instantly.
Public domain source IP, public domain font, hope they don’t cheap out on the rest.
This looks great
I believe that Shenmue was like a proto-GTA, by the time Shenmue III arrived… the formula was not only perfected but improved upon by the likes of the Yakuza series. For a new Shenmue to succeed, it would have to match Yakuza level depth and add the level of attention to detail like the original Shenmue entries provided. This is to say the least, unlikely in the best case, and impossible if we are realistic when considering risk, budget, current franchise strength, etc.
I devoured the first 2 on Dreamcast. Bought the 3rd, haven’t even installed it since.
Do we know why they don’t make ports for newer Pixels?
BF4 has 64 players total, BFBC2 has 32 players total.
Use the Fork Luke!
I hope it gets published to fdroid.
Honestly, I think Matrix would be a better fit and be actually useable. A good alternative would be XMPP. They both should work great for the use case, both are FOSS and federated.

Currently there is no voice or video support in any Spacebar instance. This is a very difficult feature to get working, especially given that we must implement it the exact same way as Discord.com for client compatibility. We would be incredibly thankful for any assistance.
Damn.
Fantastic post as always @perfectDark!
I want to selfhost it but without RetroDeck sync it just isn’t worth the effort just yet at least for me.
Also, now that it can identify the checksums, does it auto organize the ROMs into the required folder structure?
That’s also my 2nd biggest entry barrier.
