Has anyone else noticed this, across the fediverse, Lemmy specifically. A lot of new users, but also a lot of first posts that are very inflammatory/rage baity.
Do we have another legit influx of new users? Or do we just have some bad actors trying to stir the pot? Or maybe I’m imagining it.

That’s a lame and cheap attack and also ridiculous.
Try replying to these so-called “Russian and Chinese bot accounts” and see what happens
You won’t get evasive and broken English, rather a long and thorough breakdown grounded in theory and history

Aaaaand… we’re off!
Lol
I can’t wait for this one. Pray tell what genocide?
What makes a country communist in your view? Only countries that never build any sort of government and never do any sort of production?
I would love a link that you have to someone making this argument
Lol no. Glorifying Nazis like Stepan Bandera is Naziism. Doing ethnic cleansing in Eastern Ukraine is Naziism.
Obviously, it takes time to absorb the lame “tankies bad” circlejerk from
.world. Seems you have had some time to let it soak in.Removed by mod
You’re certainly making a point here, I wonder if it’s the one you intended.
You are right I don’t speak Ukrainian, do you? I’d love to discuss the 7 years between 2015 and 2022 with a local.

Well spewing insults and wishing death and torture instead of conversing is definitely a choice. I believe you have demonstrated the adage “scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds” with utmost perfection. Enjoy the humiliating defeat in the proxy war 👋
So people are just pretending that astroturfing by foreign nations isn’t real now? Cool.
I don’t really have an opinion about whether “astroturfing by foreign nations” is widespread on the internet overall. I will note that we have to take the word of intelligence agencies and big tech companies as the only evidence in the public record that it’s happening.
What I am saying is that here on the fediverse, the people who throw around that accusation are childish and ill-informed every time.
Basically, these people are saying that they can’t even imagine the possibility of people believing differently than the national media narrative of their home country, which is a pretty embarrassing self-own if you ask me.
