The top bed is from the torture camp in Cambodia, where people were tortured before killed at the killing fields. That bed was found with a man tortured to death on it when the Kmer Rouge regime fell. It is left there as a reminder of the horrible cruelties that happened there. It’s not supposed to be photographed in the first place. I wouldn’t use it in a meme, out of respect.

Is that top picture a bed from S21 in Cambodia? I feel like ive been in that exact room but maybe not because I remember there being a lot more dried blood on the floor.

It reminds me of listening to fantastical stories as a child that I can barely fathom the results of, let alone the journey. I know I’m hearing very important and profound things, but for the life of me the depth passes me by.
