Well done Italy, although I don’t agree with the trashing of things and vandalism. I don’t even know what that’s supposed to achieve.
The only thing I can think of is that it will make the German, British and American governments claim that they’re right for clamping down on the protests for Palestine.
But with the noise that is being made worldwide, and the headaches that other governments are having to deal with, coupled with Netanyahu’s killing of journalists to stop the news getting out and so he can feed his propaganda having the opposite effect, hopefully things will begin to happen and Israel will start to feel some serious pressure.
Fuck Trump, fuck Netanyahu.
The one thing these people care about is money. Knowing that, do you think they care that much that these protests are happening in general? No, they don’t. They will care if it costs them though. You need to make the cost of not listening high enough that they learn that you can’t be ignored. If you’re just nice and polite they’ll pat you on the back, tell you you protested “the right way,” and move on. You’ll never get anything out of them.
Poroperty is the only thing the assholes in power recognise.
Yeah it’s too bad for the businesses caught in the crossfire, sincerely, but this will actually have a greater impact. If business is impacted, then rich people stop making money. And they can’t stand that for even a second, so they start sending DMs to their contacts in politics.
Business does not equal rich. They could be struggling and that may be the final straw for them. The only people really benefiting from that are the insurance companies. Might be worth seeing where they have ties to.
I don’t even know what that’s supposed to achieve.
There’s a genocide happening where kids are being murdered daily with the support of worldwide governments. If your entire family and children were murdered what would you do?
I was referring to the trashing of local businesses and buildings. Unless they are zionist Israel enablers, I don’t know what smashing another country up is supposed to achieve. The mass protest on it’s own would get the same message across.

This is the minimum for it to have any effectiveness. Polite protests will achieve nothing, they will only be ignored. Especially in such an entrenched right wing and center government like Italy.
Governments will paint this negatively either way, they just can’t wait for that story of someone getting hurt or of disruption to “hard working people trying to get to work”, or painting the protesters as anti-semitic.
It probably wouldn’t be that hard to find out which businesses support Israel and its Zionism. Then, while most wouldn’t condone it, it would be more palatable.
In these videos it just seems like a breakaway group smashing up random businesses that people may be already struggling to try and keep afloat. In many cases it may mean that their insurance premiums will go up, so the only people really benefiting from it are the insurance companies. May be worth looking up if any of those have links to Israel.
I’m not sure which businesses got smashed up, but knowing the area around central station there probably is no such thing as small business there. I’ve seen a photo of a Starbucks getting vandalized, so for now I will not be shedding any tears.

Yes that is true, but rich people are impacted when businesses suffer. Think of it like austerity, but it comes from the bottom except the top.
Like I said, I feel bad for the businesses caught in the crossfire, but it’s better in the long run.

Poor local businesses :'( how will they be able to work and support their country in enabling Nazisrael to complete the genocide!
should we politely be respectful while our governments profit from genocide?
Seems this is a good time to go bat shit crazy
I don’t agree with respectability politics. I don’t even know what that’s supposed to achieve.
It achieves nothing, so moderates love it.

This and also the protest is about our country supporting the slaughter of 20 thousands children so far.
Considering this I’d call it a peaceful protest.
