I wonder if there is a genetic component to keeping fire for recreation or comfort.
I think all societies have a cooking on fire aspect.
The use of fire seems to play a much more active role in societies in cold climates. It seems to play a less prominent role in the tropics with warmer nighttime temperatures.
Mint is great for older hardware performance wise. It’s also one of the most polished distros in terms of things like updates, settings and updates. The Ubuntu/Debian ecosystem is also better supported by 3rd parties than Arch and Red Hat.
Elementary is a lot of the same, but the UI is more for Mac refugees.
It is lagging a bit on the latest gaming support. Thats what bazzite(Fredora) and CachyOS(Arch) are doing very well at the moment. They are a bit heavier on hardware requirements though, but still less than Windows.

What I meant, is that they are not commonly used anymore, because of how expensive rackspace and power has become in commercial settings.
Front loading bays though. Most 3.5 inch drives go in top loading bays. Do they looking like modern 3.5inch drives, or older ones?
If those are 2.5" SAS mechanical drives those servers were likely being shipped off to a recycler.
SSDs and 3.5 inch drives are the only things still in active use in most places.

Never got the Mac trend of not using your full screen. I get even less why Gnome copied it.
