You realize nobody is making you play the game?

Well you want to find out if they’re right about being wrong don’t you? They could be wrong about being wrong, or they could be wrong about why they were wrong.

If it’s not challenging, why are you complaining?

I always make them explain themselves. “Walk me through exactly how you got to that conclusion, and tell me each step of the way why you think it’s right”, “why did you answer this, but also that, reconcile these opposing statements.”

Because if you can’t make it through the denizens, you can’t make it through the boss. It’s a filter.

Why? If you can’t get through that, you aren’t going to beat the boss.

Hot take here, but I don’t mind them. Exactly because they take focus. They tell me when it’s time for a break. If I’m not up for the runback, then I’m not up for aother attempt at the boss.

There’s a period of time in the middle of the day when the caffeine and the alcohol overlap.

But those 3.3 percent are really upset about it.

It’s just efficient.

I love naps. I used to nap in the office. Couch, beanbag chair, wherever. Now I work from home and grab a nap every other day. Fucking love it.
