Honestly, I don’t click on anything in Emails. If it is important, somebody will write me in Teams/Slack, and otherwise I just acknowledge and ignore.

Seeing how many selfish and uneducated people there are, I think we’d be beat off if the majority of people doesn’t get a say, and the (communist) party just takes the decisions for the greater good of the people.

0·9 days agoI’d argue that if you write CAD software with your own open source file formallt, chances are that people would not bother implementing it, unless your application gets traction. Small niche products wouldn’t even be at risk by open sourcing (IMHO)

0·14 days agoWell, fact is also that most of those that are unemployed are of lower education (this is for people ages 25-34, and ISCED 0-2 led to 8.7% unemployment in 2023 vs 2.9% accross mid and high education.
Now you could of course say, let’s just educate those people and get them to work, but in Germany education is already free, if they could, they would.
Another point is that the qualified positions are often exhausting manual labour, like being a nurse in a retirement home. And on top of that, it’s often positions in places that are not very attractive, which means that you can only pick from the local population, or recruit from abroad, where people are willing to live a simple life in a german village, because they still consider it better than what they have (because of the pay, the security or whatever reasons).

0·14 days agoGood for your coworker, but what justifies him not paying taxes on 2.000€ per month, while university students can earn a maximum 556€ per month without paying taxes and social security.
Especially considering that your coworker probably has a considerable wealth built up already, and gets his retirement on top.

0·17 days agoYeah, that’s totally solving above issues.
Jokes aside, that’s also part of the problem, yes. The governments must legislate gardens and fields.

Europe@feddit.org•Wild honeybees now officially listed as endangered in the EUEnglish
0·17 days agoIt’s not only that, also the big accumulations of farmed honeybees in close proximity helps spread diseases (also to wild population), and the more Honeybees there are to produce honey for humans, the less natural food for the wild honeybees, as they compete for the same food sources.
One could say eating honey helps to decimate the wild honeybee.

It’s kind of funny, that democrats would rather eat bug infested cereals over a shit sandwich, when they could also push for cereals to be actually clean.
Tells you a lot about those people.
If you make me eat shit or cockroaches, I’d rather leave, thanks.
