Residents of Holly Ridge, Louisiana are facing disruptions and dangers from Meta's $27 billion data center construction, causing uproar in the community.
Place sure is big. So big that I wouldn’t be surprised if some stray long range bullets didn’t end up coming down on the property every so often by pure chance. Wouldn’t that put a damper on operations. Workers and construction crews having to run for cover as bullets crack over head. Then having to evacuate, shut down and let the police comb the place top to bottom collecting bullet fragments.
Then when everything is back to normal what if it happened again? And again? and again? It’s a wonder they could get any work done at all. And It’d be a heck a of a thing to protect against if the shots came from different places every time.
They’d about have to have a Groom lake-size security buffer around every single one of these places. Boy wouldn’t that get expensive.
